MODERN DAY INVENTIONThe invention?
>> The Handphone =.=
The problem before handphones: if you need to use a phone, you had to find a public phone probably a few blocks away! And you needed a phone card or a 10-cent coin. If you don't have the 2 items, you don't even have to think of using the phone. Now:Now, with handphones, you just have to reach into your pocket and viola! You can call the person you are just dying to talk to!
History:In 1984, bell labs invented such a "call handoff" feature, which allowed mobile-phone users to travel through several cells during the same conversation. Motorola is widely considered to be the inventor of the first practical mobile phone for handheld use in a non-vehicle setting. Using a modern, if somewhat heavy portable handset, Motorola manager Martin Cooper made the first call on a handheld mobile phone on April 3, 1973.

HI!! ...oh wells. This post is supposed to be on a person who have helped one of us. Can't post it right now...no picture.. she's camera shy. Trying to get her permission. So, we (our group) decide to...er...skip that post for now...ya...so, here it is.The best part of the english report:Teamwork is to co-operate and share our ideas and thoughts to each other so that we can understand one another. Its benefits allow us to get to know and communicate better with each other. It also bonds the group together and we can help one another as we work and solve a common problem. Why?It helped as a model for us to work as a team to get the job done. And it was in the best english....to our opinion... =PThat is all! Post next time!

Hi there!! Sorry! did not post earlier... anyway, here is the 3rd entry.
Talking about teamwork, our group did not really co-operate with things in the beginning when groups were first appointed.
h0w?Well, we divide the work evenly and meet after school to discuss on the project. Sometimes, we can meet on MSN and exchange ideas about the project. Other than that, we must also co-operate and make sure we get work done by the dateline.
Why?Quotes>>>Jerome: Get the work done together! ^_^Kenneth: Try our best! =PGeraldine: Together we can achieve more!! >.-Charmaine: No 'I' in TEAM! :PSalanne: No 'ME' in TEAM! XD0kie, that's all for this entry! Next one coming up in a few minutes....XD

Hi there! This time, we are here to tell you how and why we chose a topic out of the following: -Drug abuse-Alcohol abuse-Tobacco abuse (otherwise known as ssssmoking~ sorry perfect english>>smoking)
At first, we didn't know that we must chose one topic out of the three instead of doing ALL three. So we almost did the research for drug, alcohol, tobacco abuses. Luckily, our teacher reminded us. So, drug, alcohol and tobacco abuse soon became drug abuse. Yes, JUST drug abuse. We thought that it was more serious as it can kill you in a shorter time compared to smoking and that teenagers are picking it up.
So, we practically had to re-do our FILA chart. In the end, one of the learning issues is " Why do teenagers want to engage in drug abuse?" The answer:Answer: Teenagers’ who engaged in drugs are usually people with low self-esteem or under a lot of stress. These people consume drugs to feel better. Some might just want to make friends or to fit in. Teenagers might also be “forced” to consume the drugs. Well, that was only part of the answer. Bye!
